About HuskyTech

HuskyTech is the student computer support group supported by the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Connecticut. Our role is to provide students with information on how to connect to the University computer network, as well as provide help to keep student computers clean and virus free. We act as a liaison between the student body and the central IT service (UITS) regarding network polices and violations. Parents and students, please contact us regarding your technology needs at UConn.

SAIT provides the HuskyTech student staff with technical equipment, workspace, and funding. The student workers from each team interact on a daily basis, bouncing ideas and technical questions off each other when issues arise. The student staff could be considered para-professionals as they work in a multi-tiered technical environment that includes a call center, helpdesk, and reception area.
