Equipment Reservations

SAIT has a limited number of laptops and projectors and other equipment to lend out to departments within the Division of Student Affairs.

Requesting Equpiment

Reservations are best requested through an email to sait@uconn.edu with the following information:

  • Time of pickup and drop-off
  • The name associated with the reservation
  • The purpose of the reservation

Available Equipment

We have the following equipment to loan out:

  • 6 individual laptops
  • 30 laptops in the cart
  • 4 LCD projectors
  • 1 USB microphone
  • 1 digital camera
  • 1 video camera (optional tripod)
  • Up to 160 audience response system devices

If assistance is needed in setting up and connecting equipment, SAIT will be able to provide it.

Taking equipment off-campus

The University of Connecticut has developed a process to replace ACT-40 forms in order to track equipment that is removed from campus. This new Inventory Control Workflow tool is a web-based form, and must be filled out for any piece of equipment prior to removing it from campus. It is up to the person borrowing the equipment to ensure the form is filled out. Only equipment with a University inventory tag must be checked out through the Inventory Control Workflow form.
