Notification: Account Policy Change -- May 27, 2009

Student Affairs IT will be making a change to the SA domain account lockout policy on the night of May 27th. This will affect you if you repeatedly enter your domain user name or password incorrectly. The change is being made to increase the security of our computer systems against automated attacks.

After 5 incorrect login attempts within one minute, your account will be locked for one minute. After the one minute lockout period, it will be possible to resume login attempts.

Please contact SAIT Support if you have any questions about this change or need assistance in unlocking your account.
