System Administration
The System Administration team designs, maintains, and manages the Division computer network and domain, including servers, workstations, software configurations, and networked devices.
Application Development
The Application Development team develops and maintains custom software applications used in the Division. Most applications are web-based and are written with ColdFusion, Python, and Java.
Website Management
The Website Management team designs, builds and maintains websites for the departments and programs within the Division. This team consults with each department to determine customized web communication strategies that promote programs and services.
Technical Support
The Technical Support team maintains the Division Technical Support phone lines. They provide technical support to Division employees and any student needing help connecting to the UConn network.
Application Consultants
The Application Consultants team ensures that Division software applications, both custom and commercial, are used correctly and fully by Division employees. They provide training to users and develop documentation for applications. They also assist departments in selecting new or updated software packages.
