Photocopiers/Multifunction DevicesFor photocopiers or multifunction devices (combination copier/printer/fax/scanner) printing defects such as regular, repeating imperfections on each page, constant jamming and creases or other physical damage to the paper, call SAIT and we will arrange for a technician from the vendor to repair the machine. Some print defects can be fixed by cleaning the glass platen. Jams are sometimes caused by paper that has absorbed humidity from the ambient air. Try a fresh ream of paper. When contacting SAIT for issues with a photocopier or multifunction device, please provide the vendor number (the vendor's identifying number for that specific machine), the troubleshooting steps attempted, and hours that someone will be available in the office. Contact the vendor (information is posted on the machine) for photocopier or multifunction device toner or other consumables. |
